Andragogy vs. Pedagogy... a comparative point of view

In this paper Andragogy is defined and a brief reminiscence of the appearance of the term is also presented. Likewisw, Andragogy is confronted with Pedagogy from the perspective of knowlege, skills and attitudes attributed to every subject of study of both disciplines. Some indications for the teachers on how to handle learning situations in adult students are also given.
