Review of the book A enseñar: una guía práctica para los maestros de idiomas

Abstract

The book A enseñar:una guía práctica para los maestros de idiomaspresents the main elements contained in this book and the richness it offers based on the experiences of language teachers. The text edited by the Universidad de Sonora represents a compilation of texts written by language teachers, covering texts that analyze the instruction of the four language skills. It presents reflections on classroom management, the importance of teaching grammar, the inclusion of literature in foreign languages, teaching of culture as part of them, topics related to listening comprehension and reading in a foreign language. The review was developed by breaking down the chapters of the book A enseñar:una guía práctica para los maestros de idiomasseeking to offer the essence of each one and its interrelationship with the main theme of the text based on the experience of teachers of foreign languages. It is useful for young and experienced teachers who want to expand their knowledge by analyzing the didactics of other teachers who share their knowledge through this book. It should be noted that two of the chapters of this book were developed by professors of Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatan.
